Since our launch in 2021, we’ve worked with globally renowned brands in the sexual wellness space and specialize in everything from sex toys and lube to erotica and menstrual cups.  We’re seeking a self-starter to manage multiple projects across our client portfolio.

If you’re a creative, fun, open-minded and energetic go-getter, you’re in luck because we’re looking for a PR & Communications Director from the UK or Ireland to remotely join us as we embark on several exciting consumer brand projects. We are looking for someone who is able to hit the ground running at this fast-paced agency.

About the Role

Salary is £42k – £55k depending on experience.

The PR & Communications Director is a key member of the team, working on and managing a portfolio of clients whilst supporting and mentoring team members to perform to the best of their ability.

This person should be a motivated and commercially focused individual with experience and knowledge in PR, preferably from an agency background and passionate about using communications effectively to influence and engage.

The PR & Communications Director will take responsibility for the day-to-day activities associated with managing clients’ communications and engagement activities, as well as managing a team.

They will help develop and deploy creative PR and communications strategies to meet the needs of clients. 

As a PR & Communications Director you will:

  • Strategise, innovate and lead on building cut-through integrated campaigns 
  • Have the ability to work on your own initiative and take charge of clients’ requirements
  • Forge strong and productive client relationships  
  • Manage workloads effectively across multiple projects and ensure all work is completed on time and on budget
  • Work closely with other teams within Little Leaf to coordinate integrated communications programmes 
  • Ideate and execute storytelling initiatives to jump on the news cycle and have your clients be a part of the conversation
  • Provide strategic counsel and insight to shape clients’ communications programmes 
  • Have experience to adapt to changing needs of the client and to advise accordingly
  • Be involved in new business development, leading on team brainstorms, creation of PR proposals and new business pitches
  • Manage junior members of the team, mentoring them and helping to train and improve their skills
  • Have experience managing and formulating budgets

Skills required:

  • A minimum of 8 years agency experience in PR in either an agency and/or in-house
  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
  • Strong black book of press contacts
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • First-class copywriting skills
  • Proven track record of successful PR and/or integrated campaigns
  • Outstanding people management skills and track record of effective teamwork
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong IT skills
